The Rally Museum in SoHo, is a physical extension of Rally, designed to bring the assets from our platform to life through storytelling, experiential design, and unique activations. Our museum is not just a destination; in our space you can see a 1955 Porsche Speedster, a towering dinosaur fossil called Deaton, Michael Jordan game-worn sneakers, among many other amazing cultural and historical assets. Our retail space is a celebration of unique stories and remarkable treasures.

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join our new coffee bar within our Rally Museum space. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, we would love to hear from you.

The Position

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Ensure that all food handling and safety guidelines are followed
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Utilize elevated levels of service to maximize store performance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related role
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for customers
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Self-starter, punctual, detail oriented, and reliable
• Flexible with scheduling and availability to work weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
