We spark ideas that lead to positive impact and continued success.If you want to be part of this important mission, we want to hear from you..Job descriptionJoin the US Cost accounting team where you can make a real difference and gain valuable financial and commercial experience in the innovative and fast paced medical device industry.Reporting to the Manager, US Cost Accounting, you will be primarily responsible for supporting US Accounting Operations by performing various facets of the US cost accounting function. Furthermore, you will be supporting the US Global Operations team with month-end reporting, analysis, and ad hoc tasks, as required, and provide support to global and regional projects and improvement initiatives.Primary Responsibilities* Perform US cost accounting and reporting tasks such as preparation of accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations; Balance Sheet and P&L Flux commentary; Monthly and quarterly supplementary schedules coordination and preparation (i.e. Financial, Audit, Tax, and Operations).* Analyze monthly service cost variances.* Manage service inventory standard costs.* Responsible for warranty provision accounting.* Track and help payment of group purchasing organizations (GPO) and LATAM commissions.* Take ownership of the procure to pay requirements of strategic partner costs.* Conduct a profit in inventory elimination related to service intercompany transactions.* Perform service and factory excess and obsolete analyses.* Redefine key service processes and procedures, as needed.* Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports, as required.* Assist with project work such as, mergers, acquisitions, and integration, setting up new legal entities and global and regional process improvement initiatives.* Help support other members of the Cost Accounting department when needed.Skills & Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS is preferred.* 3-5 years' experience in Cost Accounting.* Experience with SAP ERP systems preferred.* Solid communication skills. Will possess a natural curiosity about business issues, drivers, and solutions. Attention to detail but understands context to the larger picture.

Must work well with others in teams.* Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation.* Experience working departments such as, Supplier Finance, AP, purchasing, Sales, Legal, Internal Auditing and Legal* Proactive and driven to improve and succeed.* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.* Fluent in desktop applications such as Microsoft OfficeManufacturing accounting experience also a plus#LI-CORP1Fighting cancer calls for big ideas.We envision a world without fear of cancer.
