Job Summary:

As a Cost Accountant, you'll be responsible for advanced cost accounting analyses, comparing estimated costs to actual costs, and preparing a variety of related budget reports. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will be instrumental in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly.

Essential Functions:

• Gather and compile cost information, maintaining a comprehensive database.
• Develop systems and procedures for cost accounting functions.
• Analyze fixed and variable costs to optimize financial performance.
• Review actual costs to identify inaccuracies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare budgeting reports and analyze profit margins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Minimum five years of experience in cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
