Form of workThe Department of Corrections State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Camp Hill is looking for someone skilled in electronically controlled equipment and internal security to be a Corrections Locksmith. This work is performed to ensure the safety and security of employees, inmates, and visitors. As a Corrections Locksmith, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all locking systems and devices at the institution, both inside and out. This includes all sliding doors, grills, gates, and Sally Port gates and yard gates. Also included are all gates and sliding doors with tracks, bearings, drive chains, electric motors, gear drives and bushings, in addition to the locking devices. Additionally, you will supervise inmates in non-security related tasks such as moving materials, hanging doors, and repairing door closures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,753.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in the locksmith trade; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
