Job description

The Correctional Plant Manager II is responsible for the daily implementation of all State, CSP-Corcoran's rules and regulations, Federal and Local laws, regulation policies and guidelines which affect both inmate and staff in the above mentioned facility. The Correctional Plant Manager II will manage all Plant Operation functions, and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Plant Operations Personnel. The Correctional Plant Manager II is responsible for the development of various Plant Operation's Operational Budgets Major/Minor and Special Repair Budgets, and their implementation and management. The Correctional Plant Manager II is responsible for the "in service" training of the personnel in Plant Operations on external, facility or departmental committees or group and other assignments as directed by the Associate Warden, Business Services.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined a candidate does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Candidates who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.
Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter .
