Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations you are responsible for developing, directing, implementing, integrating, and optimizing all HCA facility-based Supply Chain operations for both new acquisitions and existing facilities. This position has overall, companywide responsibility and oversight of facility-based requisitioning, point-of-use requisitioning technology within med/surg areas, inventory management, Supply Chain staff education development needs, and receiving activities. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing efficiencies in areas such as, but not limited to, optimizing labor and operational processes for Supply Chain at the facility level, improving nursing job satisfaction related to Supply Chain activities, and improving facility-based scanning compliance performance and utilization of replenishment scanning technology. This position is expected to continuously work towards and execute ways to improve Supply Chain operations and reduce supply cost as well as standardize Supply Chain policies and procedures across all HCA operating divisions.
As a Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations, your duties will include:
- Directing functionality enhancements, implementation, and operational practice standardization for med/surg point-of-use and supply replenishment technology
- Leading Supply Chain COOs across all divisions towards standardization of processes within facility-based Supply Chain operations
- Global responsibility to streamline and drive efficiencies and/or increased effectiveness of requisitioning, receiving, inventory management, and distribution of all supplies within facilities supported by HCA Supply Chain
- Leading companywide operational standardization initiatives for HCA Supply Chain which includes identification/implementation of best practices, project plans, policy and procedure and supply reduction opportunities, this also includes any future project that HCA may request
- Managing operational assessments for facility-based Supply Chain Operations
- Developing standardized operating plans for facility-based Supply Chain Operations
- Implementing national-level standardized operating processes for both internal and external customers
- Responsible for integrating all activities between facility-based Supply Chain teams and the CSCs
- Identifying and executing improvement opportunities within HCA Supply Chain operations based on company standards and financial performance indicators
- Working with the Supply Cost Management team to integrate Supply Chain Directors in supply cost management efforts to create ways to continuously reduce supply cost without compromising patient care
- Responsible for development of HCA Supply Chain key operating performance indicators as well as oversite of education development
- Administering Disaster Recovery plans for facility-based Supply Chain Operations
- Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
- Partner with Corporate IT&S and third party vendors to identify, design, and successfully implement upgrades and new Supply Chain technology to facilities including point-of-use (POU), inventory management, and receiving technologies
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare and facility-based Supply Chain Operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations focusing on requisitioning, receiving, inventory management, and distribution of all supplies within healthcare facilities
