Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Corporate RiskCompliance Analyst to join our Corporate Planning team in Cypress, CA. The Corporate RiskCompliance Analyst will work with various divisions across the organization to conduct risk assessments and administer corporate policies and procedures. The analyst will perform advanced research and analysis on corporate governance objectives for effective and successful implementation. They will also participate in various risk and compliance related projects and company-wide initiatives as assigned. They will work autonomously as the sole owner of each objective while fostering close collaboration with the relevant divisions within the company. This position will also require coordination of various requests originating from Yamaha's headquarters in Japan, working across all US group companies to administrate corporate governance, decision making processes and corporate policies and procedure management.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage risk and compliance information at the company level to assess, amend, and enhance risk and compliance initiatives and procedures.
- Manage office of Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning
- Manage office of Enterprise Risk Assessment, Business Impact Analysis and Mitigations Management.
- Supervise project tracking management at the corporate level and step into the role of project leader when necessary.
- Administrate corporate level decision-making processes and the implementation of corporate policies and guidelines.
- Administrate compliance related surveys from the headquarters in Japan, involving collaboration across all US group companies.
- Support in implementing internal controls for both group companies and newly acquired entities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Decision Making:
- Works under minimal supervision
- Provides recommendations in activities related to process / application development and production support
- Work with management to decide on control documentation and risk analysis.
- Making recommendations during leadership of project initiatives.
What you need to be successful:
- BA / BS degree in Business, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Administration or a related field is required
- 3-5 years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience or combination of both
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, recognize time constrains and barriers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, hands-on and practical, and attention to detail.
- Multicultural team player with a flexible mind-set. Self-motivated and service oriented.
- Experience with detailed requirements gathering, change management and managing development activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Must be able to travel as required for business needs.
The pay range for this position is $51,892 to $85,623. Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidates base pay depending on job-related experience. Base pay is one part of Yamaha's Total Rewards program, our Talent Acquisition team will share more details as candidates progress.
