ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain Third-Party Vendor Management Program documentation and key process documents to ensure it reflects current regulatory guidance, best practices, and bank processes and align with the Bank's risk appetite.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly review, monitoring, and analysis of various vendor system reports and alerts.
  • Performs risk assessments and assigns risk rankings of vendor relationships by analyzing due diligence questionnaire responses and vendor documentation.
  • Completes contract assessments to ensure contract provisions are appropriate.
  • Reviews vendor OFAC verification results and decisions potential OFAC matches.
  • Prepares third-Party Vendor management risk reports, dashboards, and operational review metrics (KRIs) or other metrics for continuous improvement and monitoring.
  • Refreshes annual Vendor Risk control self-assessment (RCSA), updating as needed to reflect any risk or process changes.
  • Stay abreast of changes to federal and state banking laws and regulations affecting the Bank's Third-Party Vendor Management program.
  • Develops and presents third-party risk management training and provides guidance to Bank staff on the expectations and requirements of the Bank's program.
  • Compiles annual SOX request items as it relates to Third Party Vendor management program.
  • Collects data and other information as required for audits and examinations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree required from accredited college or university or four (4) years of equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with FFIEC Regulatory guidance.
  • Ability to analyze processes to identify and document risk controls gaps or weakness.
  • Outstanding computer skills, including the ability to master a variety of applications to produce effective reporting on trends.
  • Ability to apply professional skepticism to business unit representations and apply an appropriate degree of audit evidence to support conclusions reached.
  • Must have a knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to assigned areas, and how these obligations relate to the role and comply with these laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
