General Job Description

This Corporate Recruiter contractor position is specifically responsible for recruiting high-value strategic positions and will work directly with USAN's president. The candidate for this position must have experience hiring both executive level resources as well as experienced technical resources, such as (1) Senior Operations Business Analyst, (2) Senior Sales Executive, (3) Midmarket Account executive.
This is a short-term contract (6 months) that could turn into a longer-term contract based on performance and needs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs
- Exercise full cycle recruiting strategy to include pipelining of candidates, mining resumes, selling positions to potential candidates, networking and attracting best in class candidates
- Ensure an impressive candidate experience through thorough communication & timely feedback, interviewer preparedness and effective interview format
- Determine applicant requirements from the job description and job qualifications
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using job sites
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
- Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications
Qualifications for the Job
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of direct experience with job screening and hiring senior-level sales & senior-level technical resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Highly detail-oriented and accurate
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals and respond flexibly and positively
