Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Duties:
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes using tools such as AutoCAD and other engineering software
- Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Evaluate existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed
- Assist in the development of tooling designs and specifications
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment
- Provide technical support to production teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in Process Engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of assembly, welding, CNC machining, plastics injection molding, and related processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other engineering software
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
