StreetWise Partners' one-year mentoring program provides customized, individualized mentorship for internship and job seekers while helping them establish an expansive professional network made up of hundreds of advocates who open doors and support long-term career success. By 2026 we aim to launch 1900 careers, which equates to $92m in first year cumulative wages to transform individuals, families, and communities.
Position Overview:
The Corporate Engagement Assistant will support corporate partnerships across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Partnerships Officer, the Assistant will provide administrative support to team members, conduct data entry and light analysis, execute on timelines and logistics for volunteer events, and support prospect research and other related activities.
This is a remote, part-time position and requires a commitment of 15-25 hours per week.
- 75% allows flexible hours to accommodate personal schedules.
- 25% of the job will require virtual presence during scheduled times.
Responsibilities include:
- Calendar management for team members and events.
- Proficiency in organizational skills and task management, ensuring efficient and timely completion of assignments.
- Oversee event registration process, including creating and managing registration forms, and handling pre- and post-event communication with attendees.
- Update and organize event materials.
- Record event and partnership data accurately in Salesforce, and proficiently generate and analyze reports.
- Conduct thorough research on potential corporate partners, develop comprehensive prospect profiles, and effectively communicate findings through reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Located in the East Coast time zone or willing to work East Coast hours.
- Proficiency in utilizing various technology platforms including Zoom, Salesforce, Survey Monkey, Canva, Asana, and Microsoft Office tools, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.
- Proficient in data entry with 100% accuracy, using programs such as Excel.
- Eager to share lessons learned, creatively problem solve, explore best practices and continuously improve service delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, and communication.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting individuals from underrepresented communities in their pursuit of employment opportunities.
Physical Environment
This position requires sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity.
