EXL is looking for an AVP of Provider Engagement in our Healthcare Payment Integrity Business Unit. This is a remote opportunity!

In this position, you will spearhead provider support, dedicating your focus to designing and developing a roadmap for both existing and new solutions. But this isn't about managing solutions; it's about guiding them through lifecycles, understanding product needs, and collaborating with internal business units to deliver scalable, repeatable provider solutions that solve the challenges they experience today.
As our AVP of Provider Engagement, you will be part of developing a provider touch strategy. Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers, you'll conduct thorough provider needs analysis and translate it into tangible, impactful strategies for positive Provider partnerships.
Your impact extends to then drive projects to meet those provider needs. You'll plan, manage, and execute projects within defined timelines. Serving as a liaison between cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, you'll keep the momentum alive, providing regular updates, showcasing products through demos, and ensuring alignment with project expectations.
In the face of challenges, you won't just navigate – you'll lead! Identifying potential roadblocks, you'll proactively address issues, ensuring projects stay on course. Your ability to provide support and feedback throughout the solutions lifecycle will be the catalyst for success.
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in project management and provider relations.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience leading a team.
  • Prior experience in a Healthcare required, preference given to experience working with Providers.
  • Expert in Project Management Methodology; preference given to certified PMP.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare industry and provider groups including systems, capabilities, performance, challenges, and obstacles to success.
  • Ability to supervise, guide, and develop Provider Engagement specialists as assigned.
  • Experience working in a global delivery model with cross functional/matrixed teams.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, independence, leadership, a strategic mindset, self-directed with attention to detail.
  • Experience developing policies and repeatable operating procedures.
  • Managing, leading, and enabling change.
  • Continuous learning, leading to an increasing capacity to create the future – at an individual and organizational level.
Customer Advocacy - Relationship Building:
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally.
  • Ability to educate and train on Provider Portal features and utilization.
  • Confidant of both internal and external partners for wants and needs.
  • Always keep the customer “top of mind.”
Project Management:
  • Prior experience with solution framework implementation and deployment.
  • Proficient in the analysis of data and the use of process visualization software.
  • Ability to conceptualize and explain business opportunities.
  • Strong Excel and Presentation skills required.
  • Knowledge of claims auditing is a plus.
  • Willing to travel 10-20%

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location and experience.
