Role Summary:
As a Corporate Development Associate at Commure & Athelas, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization through strategic Mergers and Acquisitions. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and become an integral part of our Corporate Development team.
Your focus will be on identifying and evaluating acquisition targets, orchestrating the due diligence process, and seamlessly integrating new acquisitions into our expansive healthcare platform.
This role requires a proactive approach, a strong understanding of financial and operational dynamics in M&A, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with potential acquisition targets.
This is an on-site position, requiring your presence 5 days a week in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
Identify and assess potential acquisition targets, leveraging a wide network of investment banks, private equity firms, and direct executive engagements.
Oversee the due diligence process, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to evaluate targets comprehensively.
Facilitate negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring alignment with Commure’s strategic objectives and financial criteria.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquisitions effectively and realize synergies.
Develop a deep understanding of healthcare automation technology, including Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), to identify strategic acquisition opportunities.
Engage and build relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in the healthcare technology sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in M&A or Corporate Development.
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, deal structuring, and negotiation.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
A self-driven and results-oriented approach, complemented by a collaborative team spirit.
Compensation Range: $95K - $115K
