Compensation: Base to $175K, DOEJob Overview - Corporate Controller - 32844Sherpa exclusive! A mid-sized, Charlotte-based, global contract manufacturer specializing in packaging solutions is building their Corporate team in anticipation of near-term growth through acquisitions. This is a newly created position reporting to the CFO, will include a nice mix of strategic and tactical, and will provide you with an opportunity to develop a scalable function.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, treasury, and internal controls.
Lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transition and alignment with company standards.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
Absolute RequirementsBS in Accounting and CPA8+ years of progressive accounting experience3+ years of Big 4, national or large regional CPA firm experience, preferably in assurancerecent corporate accounting and finance leadership roles within a global organization, prepared to take on a leadership role. Experience in manufacturing and private equity portfolio companies is a strong preference.
