The Corporate Compliance Assistant will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in Risk Management activities to include routine audits,error trending, and process change activities.
The center will provide patient centered primary care of the highest quality to residents, migrants and seasonal farmworkers, aswell as visitors of the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
As part of the Patient Centered Medical Home Model of care, the employee will advocate for patient’s best interest and makerecommendations for patient special needs such as interpreter services; identified barriers to care such as transportation,medication assistance, outreach, and health education; influence patient’s engagement in their care; promoting a continuum ofsafe, quality, and cost-effective patient care.
- Individual must have advanced communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to represent the compliance program in a positive manner in dealing with employees, patients, and vendors.
- A clinical background is preferred.
- Individual must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Individual must have a strong work ethic and maintain confidentiality regarding data provided for users or groups.
- Must be self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable with good organizational, research and follow-up skills.
- Must have ability to work without direct supervision and manage multiple priorities.
- Must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Must demonstrate a personal and professional commitment to Eastern Shore Rural Health and its Mission Statement.
