SUMMARY

The Corporate Communications Associate supports Ansys’ content marketing efforts by developing targeting content that explains the benefits of our products and services while promoting the Ansys brand. The role requires excellent writing, editing, and collaboration skills to transform technical topics into stories that are read, shared, and acted upon by audiences that include product design and development engineers, third-party media outlets, and internal company stakeholders. Corporate Communication Associates will work with a global team to identify technology trends and newsworthy corporate initiatives, then compose and edit engaging copy for magazine articles, blog posts, case studies, and more.


RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Conceptualize and collaborate on story ideas
  • Conduct research
  • Interview internal and external sources
  • Write and edit copy
  • Gather photos and art to accompany articles
  • Guide articles through approval channels
  • Proofread
  • Administrative support
  • Post content to the Ansys website


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field with a minimum of two years of writing and editing experience
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization
  • Experience with MS Office, online content management systems, or other publishing tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in engineering technology


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering or technical writing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the electronics/semiconductor industry preferred
