Who You’ll Work With:

The Corporate Access & Advisory Services Specialist will partner internally with the investment professionals, and externally with corporates and sell side touchpoints. Their primary responsibilities include originating and executing the process that connects AllianceBernstein investment professionals to corporate management teams by leading the end-to-end coordination and execution of company management meetings. The candidate will apply a consultative and collaborative approach in working with investment professionals and other key stakeholders to support the origination, coordination and flawless execution of management meetings from conception to completion. They will also assist in managing our research budget, vote process and market data vendors for our investment professionals. This entails coordinating a global firm vote and sending a cohesive message to our sell-side partners on what AB values in terms of research and Advisory Services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the team, investment professionals to originate company meetings hosted in house or off premises. This would include both fundamental and ESG engagements.

  • Collaborate with the team and investment professionals in planning and coordination of high-value investor bespoke research trips, including scheduling company meetings.

  • Help drive both internal and external communications to manage a coordinated process

  • Contribute ideas to build on and improve the existing process to facilitate company meeting requests from our investment professionals.

  • Ensure that company meetings are appropriately captured (including company information, host information, location, date, and time) to enable effective reporting and analysis.

  • Partner with the team to produce & distribute periodic/ad hoc reports to summarize Corporate Access activity

  • Build external relationships with corporate management teams, sell-side Corporate Access desks, Broker Dealers and other third-parties

  • Assist in coordinating AB’s global research vote across Equities, Arya, Asturias, and Multi-Asset teams

  • Support in overseeing AB’s research budget including market data vendors.

  • Manage AB’s soft dollar/commissions management process; reconciling CSA commissions with brokers, coordinate research payments, and analyze trading commission reports.

  • Work with Compliance, Client reporting and other internal teams on various soft dollar requests

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of work experience in Corporate Access, investor relations, broker relations, commission management or the financial services industry strongly preferred

  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and perform assignments independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively problem solve employing independent judgement in decision making

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion

  • Strong relationship management skills and a demonstrated ability to build trust, rapport and credibility with stakeholders (analysts, PM’s and CIO’s)

  • Strong technology skills (experience with Excel and Powerpoint is a plus)

In accordance with Section 8-107(32) as set forth in the New York City Human Rights Law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:

Base Salary Range: $110,000 to $140,000

Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards. In addition, AB provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick and vacation time off.
