Overview

We are looking for a talented Copywriter who can write and publish various types of compelling pieces for our company. Examples include articles, blog posts, product descriptions, white papers, social media content and web copy. You should be able to work with our digital marketing team and help us drive more value through our online content.

You should have proven experience with a strong writing portfolio. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to do extensive research to write accurate, compelling content. You should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create digital campaigns to help generate leads as well as subscribers
• Produce various content types, including website, email, marketing materials, social media posts, video scripts and blogs on a daily/weekly basis
• Use digital publishing platforms to compose well-organized relevant snippets
• Written content should be edited and proofread before publication
• Promote and monitor content on social media networks
• Recommend new topics based on customer's needs
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to fulfill content needs and create innovative content ideas
• Research and evaluate clients to develop messaging guidelines (for new or existing brands)
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that support our clients overarching business goals and brand messaging.
• Conduct thorough research to understand our clients target audience, their needs, preferences, and behaviors, and integrate these insights into content creation.
• Ensure all content aligns with our clients brand voice, style guidelines, and messaging strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Should have proven work experience as a Copywriter, Content Creator, or similar role
• Should have a portfolio of published articles with links to online articles
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• An ability to fact check long-form content pieces
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
