Summary
The Copy Editor’s function is to shape, simplify and elevate our copy while also ensuring that content is clean, error-free and meets our brand guidelines. You’ll be joining an editorial team of copywriters and editors who are charged with building the brand voice of the company.
Standard Hours Per Week - 20.00 hours
Roles & Responsibilities
Review copy decks for clarity, grammar and consistency
Ensure copy follows our brand guidelines, tone and style
Work with copywriters and other content producers to revise copy as needed
Proofread copy decks, digital assets and other content as needed
Collaborate with creative team on projects
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience in an advertising agency or corporate marketing department
Demonstrated ability to pivot between assignments and handle fast turnaround times
Familiarity with AP Style
Experience working with tech clients, particularly cloud software companies, preferred
Strongly agrees with our philosophy on the Oxford comma and no periods at the end of headlines
