Basic Job Functions:
Provides recruiting administrative support for recruiters, including interview scheduling and facilitating candidate travel. Ensuring Recruiting functions and activities run effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with First Solar’s Core Values. Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition department. Responsible for ensuring a “best in class” experience for candidates across the globe.
Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in administrative/coordinator role, or co-op/intern experience required
- Recruiting coordinator or HR experience, preferred
- Experience working in a corporate environment, required
- Adept in working with different personality types
Education:
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Proven experience booking meetings using MS Outlook
- Must be detail oriented and consistently accurate
- Excellent project management ability: follow-up and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with various organizations and associates throughout the company
- Ability to prioritize and shift focus in a rapid changing and dynamic environment
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
Essential Responsibilities:
- Scheduling candidate interviews both local and internationally on multiple interviewers’ calendars
- Processing interview candidate expenses
- Sending out offer packets to all new hires
- Responsible for using an applicant tracking systems and maintaining up to date candidate information
- Responsible for ensuring all facets of the pre-employment process which includes data entry of background checks and verifying our standards, drug and alcohol testing, manager and HR notifications are made and all necessary paperwork is received for each candidate hired
- Working across different time zones to support hiring needs globally, this will include working outside of standard office hours
- Facilitating candidates travel with our travel vendor
- Other duties as assigned
