Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description

We're looking for a highly engaged individual who supports Regional Manager and Assistant Manager in managing the administrative and operational activities of Materials Management section of Inpatient and Outpatient Nursing. Assists with managing MedSurg and Surgical supply, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and other equipment needs of Acute Care and Critical Care Nursing, while acting as a secondary liaison between Materials Management and internal and external customers or suppliers. You Will:
• Submits requisitions - Non-Catalog/ Specialty Supplies
• Tracks purchase requisitions and updates Materials Manager as necessary.
• Acts as coordinator for management and replenishment of MedSurg supplies, Surgical supplies, and durable materials equipment supplies.
• Acts as a coordinator for non-system related issues received within the department whether via mail, electronic mail or telephone. Assesses and troubleshoots problems and issues, handling those within purview while using sound judgment. Follows up to ensure that all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the client and are handled in a timely manner.
• Ensures timely response to all facility-related issues; maintains appropriate tracking tools/documentation.
• Functions as a liaison between the hospital and vendors for durable medical equipment and other supplies for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Works with vendors to maintain DME processes and obtain equipment.
• Collaborates with outside vendors, key stakeholders, MSK Procurement and Facilities Management to coordinate smooth execution of all facility-related projects to ensure the maintenance of a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for patients and staff.
• Ensures availability of equipment required to carry out area's responsibilities by adequately assessing and appropriately meeting needs within fiscal guidelines.
• Reviews all available repair and maintenance sources, initiating the most appropriate means to ensure prompt, efficient, cost effective servicing.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm. Weekends as needed
Pay Range $59,000.00-$91,500.00
