JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Coordinator, Venue & Game Operations is responsible for assisting with all operations at Michael A. Carroll Stadium. The candidate should be a self-motivated and positive professional with experience in planning and executing events. The Coordinator, Venue & Game Operations will report directly to the Senior Director, Venue & Game Operations.
- Act as the liaison between Indy Eleven and stadium vendors to ensure plans are set in place for each gameday and expectations are met. This could include vendors such as security, parking, cleaning, staffing, medical, concessions, etc.
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of all game operation activities including, but not limited to:
- Event setup and tear down for each gameday and event,
- Coordinating with other departments and stadium vendors to assure venue readiness for all events,
- Assisting with game presentation, special events and promotions, including pregame, halftime, and postgame activities.
- Developing scripts and timelines with all departments for all home games.
- Responsible for the submission of all USL Championship required forms before and after each match day.
- Responsible for preparation of all home match day Competition Timelines and Run of Shows. Will act as the Match Coordinator for every home match to direct all teams, referees, vendors, staff, etc. to ensure we remain on time.
- Assist with the vetting of new vendors or review process for all in stadium capital improvement project vendors to ensure quality work/product as well as cost efficiency.
- Assist Game Operations and Community Relations staff with promotional giveaways and community partner initiatives.
- Coordinate the set-up, tear down, and maintenance of the facility for each event. This will include, but is not limited to, coordination with both the Corporate Partnerships and Marketing departments, preparing the concourse, team facilities, field, hospitality areas, gates, signage, and fun zone.
- Organize and control facility storage areas.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments.
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing fan complaints/issues.
- Coordinate with stadium vendors in a professional and efficient manner.
- Coordinate and monitor department work schedules.
