Summary:
Our award-winning client is a Convenience Store chain based in Fremont, CA. The mission of the Fleet Manager is to manage a portfolio of strategic regional accounts for fuel and car washes resulting in maximum profitability and volume. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for maintaining our current customer base, identifying new opportunities with Marketing and regional leadership, Identifying and negotiating contracts, and ensuring operational excellence. You will work independently with a cross-divisional team helping this successful company grow.
Responsibilities:
Manage regional customer portfolio to optimize supply, allocations, profitability, volume, and receivables, while implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve account growth.
Research and identify new business opportunities for growth, including identifying and procuring new bulk commercial customers with proper credit approval.
Monitor and enforce credit policies and customer limits. Also investigate and rectify all customer billing inquiries as appropriate.
Maintain relationships with clients providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Business to business sales and account management experience.
Ability to prepare and present reports, work with internal team members and external customers.
Work remotely 50% and travel to sites and customers in northern CA 50%. Once per month travel to SoCal sites and customers.
Ability to effectively communicate as required by customer need Marketing & Regional Managers regarding account maintenance, problem resolution and new site implementation.
Experience working with CRM software technologies to develop and grow business.
