Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs (experience with Siemens is a plus).
- Demonstrate expertise in Rockwell MicroLogix and CompactLogix controllers, along with proficiency in RS Logix 500, Logix 5000, and Studio 5000 software.
- Familiarity with one of the following software packages: LabVIEW, Wonderware, or Step 7, and a good understanding of communication
- Develop programs for various environments, with a focus on Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
- Generate and execute verification and validation processes for equipment.
- Provide support during equipment start-up and commissioning.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production and customer-related issues.
- Contribute to the design of electrical control panels.
- Experience with VFDs, motors, starters, relays, transducers,
- Knowledge of AutoCAD electrical is advantageous.
- Familiarity with machine safety standards, electrical codes (NEC), and hydraulics is beneficial.
Physical Requirements:
- Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
- Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
