POSITION SUMMARY


At Splashlight, our People & Culture team focuses on what people need to have the best possible experience at work and how to provide it innovatively. We’re searching for an ambitious and resourceful People & Culture Associate to help drive and administrate various People & Culture (PAC) and to support our people-centric strategy practiced throughout the organization. The role will have significant responsibilities that ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. Our ideal candidate will have administrative accountabilities and will help with important functions such as talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, continuous performance management, employee relations, corporate communication, operations, and job satisfaction.


The role is very visible with regular interaction with all levels of management and has a clear growth path professionally and within the organization for the right candidate.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


Other overarching accountabilities we hope you hold near and dear are:


Ensuring People & Culture operations exceed expectations with a critical eye trained on the Employee UX throughout tenure with Splashlight:


  • Administrating a seamless, pleasant, user-friendly, informative onboarding process, coordinating cross-functionally with other departments to deliver an exceptional first-day 90-day experience.
  • Ensuring all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and offboarding, including data entry in several (HRIS) corporate systems are entered and maintained correctly and are audited quarterly for accuracy & compliance.
  • Coordinates and ensures employee recognition programs are meaningful and dynamic, and operate with ease.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure payroll processing, updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes are recorded accurately, timely, and efficiently.

Administratively supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to help maintain compliance:


  • Audits, tracks, and QC compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include cybersecurity training, workplace harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

Proficient and proactively harness technology and analytics to make data-based decisions:


  • Maintain and continuously improve a sophisticated Google-based series of operational workflows and dashboards that support reporting human-centric KPIs most relevant to the business at any given time.
  • Maintain and keep accurate Splashlight’s robust Google Site and Insperity Premier Portal as well as all People & Culture third-party applications.

Performs other duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES


  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in HR is required, with generalist experience preferred
  • Wherewithal to navigate the social complexities of being on the HR team, and establish rapport across the organization while maintaining an unshakeable ability to maintain confidential information is mandatory
  • A basic understanding of general HR policies and procedures needed
  • Knowledge of GSuite applications is important for success in this role. Advanced proficiency in a variety of Google applications is a plus
  • Experience administering HRIS systems (e.g. ADP, Workday, Insperity, ATS, and other HRIS-related applications is preferred
  • Aptitude and a desire to learn and apply new technologies that enhance our employees’ experience, and support data-driven decision-making is a good fit for our PAC team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness are essential
  • Understanding the importance of branding and stewarding brand awareness, education, and compliance across the organization is essential to enjoying the role to its fullest potential
  • A helpful nature and collaborative approach is again, a great fit for Splashlight
  • BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field desire
