Your role with us:
As a Controls Engineer for Pearson Packaging Systems, you will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive electrical control systems for end-of-line packaging machinery. This includes overseeing the installation and providing technical support for your servo and PLC-based hardware and software. Candidates should be well-versed in standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of Electro-Mechanical equipment design and manufacture.

- Through your ability to conceptualize, design, validate, refine and implement controls systems for secondary packaging equipment, delivering high-quality control system designs with precision and accuracy to our customers.

- By working alongside our Sales, Service, Project Management, and Assembly teams to deliver quality products to our customers on time and on budget.
- By quickly and creatively solving engineering challenges, allowing machines to be delivered on-time and within scope.
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of PLC, HMI, Servo control, and integration experience. Allen Bradley Logix PLCs and PanelView Plus HMI's is a plus.
- AutoCAD experience. AutoCAD Electrical experience is a plus.
- Robotic integration experience, FANUC preferred
- RIA and electrical code knowledge
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Excellent technical, verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
