Position Summary
Develop and define control systems applications for ProEnergy Services by providing detailed control system software design engineering on various Programmable Logic Controller and Human machine interface platforms.
Position Responsibilities
- PLC logic development.
- HMI screen development.
- Control system network design and integration.
- Motion control system design and programming.
- Review and ensure machine’s control specifications meet contractual requirements for project.
- Provide systems support to internal/external clients, including end-users, suppliers, electrical design group, manufacturing, and functional test groups.
- Provide control system startup services and support of machinery, both on-site and remote support of installation team.
- Provide documentation including user manuals, control system specifications and procedures.
- Experience working with turbine or compressor controls would be useful.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related experience with various related functional mechanisms such as the science and methodology of loop tuning and controls configurations.
- Must have proven experience with any of the following: PLC’s: Allen Bradley, GE Mark series, GE Fanuc, Siemens, etc.
- Proficient in multiple programming environments and languages.
- Retrofit or upgrade experience using multiple platforms.
- Steam turbine, gas turbine, petrochemical controls design experience a plus.
- Ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and myriad objectives.
- Ability to reach consensus on complex issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Technical competence including understand software, hardware, networks, etc.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions percentages area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, thermodynamics, chemistry, and electricity.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
