SalaryTaldeco is seeking an experienced Controls engineer to come and work for one of our OEM's in the greater Detroit area. As an Engineer you will partake in new projects and work along side other departments. The ideal Controls Engineer will be responsible for the following.
Job Duties:
- Develop control system architectures and specifications based on project requirements.
- Develop and program Programmable Logic Controllers for automated control systems.
- Conduct testing and debugging of control systems to ensure proper functionality
- Create system map layouts, sequence of operations, drawing packages, PLC logic, and HMI screens
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet deadlines and objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming HMI design, implementation, and debugging.
- Strong knowledge of control theory, instrumentation, and automation technologies.
- Experience or Familiarity with GM Conveyors.
- GM structures & standards for software & HMI
- GCCH1 hardware specifications
- GCCS2 software specifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
