CONTROLS & ELECTRICAL PROCESS ENGINEER
Location: Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, United States
Responsible for specifying/implementing equipment controls and improving manufacturing performance Bloomsburg Plant
Responsibilities
Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, quality, and health/safety standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.
Designs, develops, and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
Devises and implements preventative, totally productive and predictive maintenance plans to drive equipment reliability to the best in class.
Develops solutions to repetitive failures and other maintenance problems and Provides troubleshooting support for electrical and mechanical systems.
Develops plans to reduce energy intensity and energy consumption.
Provides technical support to manufacturing and other manufacturing engineers.
Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective control processes and methods in accordance with product manufacturing requirements and health/safety standards.
Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various control system upgrades.
Prepares and maintains detailed policies and procedures for Process Control Systems.

Qualifications
Basic or Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Minimum 5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
Proficient with Allen Bradly PLC controls
RSLinx, RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 (motion). Panelbuilder, RSVIEW 32, ME. Ultraware
Proficient with VFD, temperature control, data recording
Experience with equipment safety systems including STI & Banner devices.
Ability to analyze difficult and complex engineering systems and render clear interpretation and direction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Proficient with AutoCAD and or Autodesk Inventor
Experience in equipment reliability engineering
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
