Objectives:
Strategic Financial Reporting: Deliver detailed financial updates to senior management through comprehensive evaluation, analysis, and reporting of key data.
Financial Decision Guidance: Steer financial decisions by integrating company policies with the current economic environment.
Financial Control Development: Establish, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and guidelines.
Budgeting Excellence: Achieve budget goals through meticulous scheduling, analysis, and timely corrective actions.
Payroll Process Innovation: Enhance payroll efficiency by developing innovative processes.
Operational Strategy Support: Play a pivotal role in developing and backing short-term and long-term operational strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Conduct cost analysis for projects, oversee cash flow and budget management.
Vendor and Project Finance Management: Handle contracts for vendors and suppliers, manage finances for construction projects, and collaborate with project managers.
Internal Safeguarding: Uphold internal safeguards for revenue, costs, and team and organizational budgets versus actual expenditures.
Benchmarking and Reporting Standards: Set financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Policy Implementation: Apply consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring compliance with national and local legal standards.
Internal Control Enforcement: Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
Leadership in Accounting: Provide dynamic leadership to the accounting team, fostering an environment of trust and productivity.
Accounts Receivable Management: Manage AR, prepare invoices, and liaise with clients for payments.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online & Desktop and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Financial Record Accuracy: Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Job Requirements:
Experience: At least ten years of professional accounting experience, with a minimum of five years as a senior-level accounting or finance manager.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or a related field.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.
- Proven experience in managing payroll and streamlining accounting processes.
- Demonstrated excellence in financial project management.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Technical Proficiency: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks online.
