Junior Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Controller. If you have a passion for numbers, a strong understanding of financial principles, and a desire to grow in the field of accounting, then this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

● Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

● Perform general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

● Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

● Help develop and implement internal controls and processes.

● Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

● Ability to work effectively in a team environment

● Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

● Experience working with Inventory management, tracking, and valuation

● Asset management

● Assembly / Manufacturing Experience

● Cash Flow Management and Forecasting Experience

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

● Quick Learner

Work Arrangement:

● For the first 4 months, you will be expected to report to the office 5 days a week. Afterward, we will entertain a flexible arrangement of 3 days at the office and 2 days remote.

● The company will supply a laptop, wireless mouse and keyboard, along with two additional monitors.

Compensation & Benefits:

● Starting salary up to $120,000 per year, depending on experience

● Performance Bonus: 10% (subject to achieving Company and Personal Goals)

● Health Insurance: Company covers 50% of premiums, up to $500/month

● 5 days paid sick leave and 10 days PTO/vacation leave

● Exempt from reporting during regular US holidays such as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
