TITLE: Contracts Coordinator
SCHEDULE: Full-time position, 40 hours per week

SALARY: $70,000

The mission of Homeless Children’s Network is to decrease the trauma of homelessness and domestic violence for children, youth, and families; to empower families; and to increase the effectiveness of collaborative efforts among service providers to end homelessness and poverty.
Job Description:
Major responsibilities will include:
● Support the successful and meticulous execution of all city, county and privately funded contracts, as well as the timely submission of budget modifications throughout the fiscal year.
● Manage and monitor all invoicing against contracts, including the tracking of YTD invoices vs. budgets, any and all template modifications and supplemental awards
● Oversee the subcontracting process for the organization's subcontractors, ensuring the timely completion of MOUs and budgets associated with multiple large grants and contracts.
● Develop and improve an internal and external communications process to ensure the timely submission of financial and deliverables reports for reimbursement and successful execution of grant and contract requirements.
● Working closely with the internal QA team, develop and improve internal data management systems for outcomes tracking and monitoring.
● Serve as the internal and external expert for the organization's grants and contracts management system for awards.
● Support program management and staff to draft deliverables and reports for contracts and grants as needed and to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
● Work closely with Development, Finance, and Program staff to develop contract/proposal budgets.
● Coordinate with Finance and Program staff to ensure contract/grant funds are properly allocated to program initiatives while ensuring no budgeted salary or expense is over-funded.
● Oversee the timely close-out, renewal, or extension for all the organization's contracts and grants.
● Oversee all aspects of government contract audits, site visits and monitoring visits, preparing requested documentation ahead of time and serving as a point person for all communications.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree required
● A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with grants or contracts administration, including the management of financial reports
● Experience with State and City contracts
● An understanding of financial principles and basic QuickBooks knowledge
● Strong financial management and analytical skills, with experience developing and monitoring budgets and financial reporting
● Highly detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to accurately track multiple grants and contracts concurrently
● Supervisory experience a plus
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Exceptional organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage concurrent multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize accordingly
● Superior relationship management skills, with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
