Job Title: Contract Specialist
Location: Sacramento
Compensation: $24 - $26 hourly
Contract Specialist Responsibilities:
- Perform routine contract management work
- Provide support to Senior Contract Specialists in preparing, processing and managing various contract documents
- Oversee the lifecycle of routine contracts and agreements - including contract development, negotiation, and preparation
- Attend meetings
- Prepare reports and correspondence, maintaining timely communications with representatives, vendors and agencies
Contract Specialist Requirements:
- Must be proficient in overseeing the entire contract lifecycle
- Should be familiar with Academic Internship and Service Learning Site Agreements (IN-SL), Interagency Agreements (IA), License Agreements (LA), Revenue Agreements, Athletic Travel Agreements (AT), Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), task order releases under Job Order Contracts (JOC), Task Order Construction Agreements (TOCA), Task Order Service Agreements (TOSA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Problem solving and analysis skills
- Ability to resolve customer concerns
- General knowledge of procurement rules
- Skilled in negotiation of contractual agreements
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
