Salary#NYR373 A lovely family in Roslyn, NY is seeking a LIVE IN HOUSEKEEPER/BABYSITTER to support them and help in caring for their home and their two children, boys age 3.5 and 5 years old.
Location: Roslyn, NY
Schedule: Tuesday - Sunday morning
Salary: $900 - $1000, depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities:
This is a true hybrid housekeeper and babysitter role. The mother of this family does not work, and spends much of her time at home caring for her children. Therefore, for much of the day you will be functioning in a housekeeping role - cleaning, organizing and maintaining the family home. In the afternoon when the children are home from school, there will be times when you will be responsible for the care and supervision of the boys, play with them, offer them a snack, take them outside etc. A few times a week you will be expected to cook a simple dinner meal for the children. You will work with the mother at the beginning of each week to plan meals for the week, and she will handle all of the grocery shopping. This family had a nanny who worked with them for four years and was like a member of the family, having become very close with them. They are hoping to find the same close and long term relationship with you! The family does have a large dog.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, maintain and organize the family home, including kitchen, floors, bathroom and laundry
- Care for the children and engage with them in age-appropriate and safe activities
- Cook dinner meal for the children on certain evenings - can be simple meals that appeal to children.
