Job Details:
- Location: Enterprise, AL
- Company: Sunbelt Staffing, on behalf of a Nationwide Home Health Agency
- Position Type: Contract, 13-week term with possibility of extension upon successful completion
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with occasional weekends and on-call
- Compensation: Competitive salary, mileage reimbursement, medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits after 90 days
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Home Health visits to patients within Enterprise, AL and surrounding areas.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and physician orders.
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and patient education.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Utilize Oasis and Homecare Homebase software for documentation and communication purposes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain communication with patients' families and caregivers to facilitate continuity of care.
Job Requirements:
- Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Health nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Oasis and Homecare Homebase software.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
