Position Summary
The Contract Coordinator will support and coordinate all aspects of contract development, execution, and tracking including drafting contracts, as necessary. Work with Utilization Management in preparing and negotiating Letter of Agreements within cost targets. Work with Network Development Specialists in tracking and prioritizing contracts. Interface with physicians, physician offices, and internal departments to ensure timely execution of contracts and notification to internal departments of reimbursement terms.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Assist Contracting Manager and Director in preparing contract documents.
- Run reports and analysis.
- Secure signature from all parties including Provider, Director and Senior Management.
- Send executed agreements to Provider.
- Provide contract detail information (i.e., reimbursement page) to appropriate departments, including Directory Support and Provider Portal Analyst.
- Set up and manage tracking of contracts through each stage of the contract process.
- Management of all contract elements and files.
- Negotiate, within cost targets, and track Letter of Agreements
- Ensure provider contract files are complete and current.
- Support credentialing process as needed.
- Inform key internal departments of new contract terms i.e. CAP and FFS rates.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience at IPA, health plan or related environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with providers, health plans, members and vendors.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to handle high volume work load and effectively prioritize work to meet changing deadlines.
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word including complex mail merges, Power Point, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Access a plus.
- Experience with Epic CRM preferred or other CRM experience will be considered.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent is required.
