Job Description

Part-time - Full-Time

An SEO Content Creator is responsible for creating and optimizing content to increase visibility and organic search rankings. This includes but may not be limited to writing content for blog posts for a variety of clients, writing content for social media posts, and using images to support the writing. An in-depth knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and execution within WordPress is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Primarily responsible for creating unique and engaging social content (written copy and licensed images procurement) for our SEO/Social Clients and any web client that needs new content.

· All the social media work will be handled on the Loomly platform. Loomly is a web-based platform that allows us to make and schedule posts up to a year in advance. We can edit scheduled posts, add new posts, add, and edit images, and reply to comments and messages.

· Regularly review new reviews from our clients and reply on their behalf.

· Add newly created blog posts to the client’s website (all WordPress)

· Creating written copy for new web clients as needed.

· Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of AI is essential.

· Manage WordPress edits for existing web clients.

· This role requires regular communication with clients, vendors, and fellow staff members.

This position will be a part-time position to start, with full-time status being achievable most likely within the first year.

Qualifications:

· Experience as a content creator in prior roles creating strong and engaging content.

· Understanding SEO Best Practices is imperative.

· Excellent writing and proofreading are a must (typo and broken link avoidance are critical).

· Understanding Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

· Positive people skills are needed when interacting with staff members, vendors, and our clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
