THE POSITION
An internship as Content Writer has responsibilities including conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading content before distribution to the client and subsequent publication. If you're familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we'd like to meet you.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services and those of our agency clients
- Proofread and edit website content, blog posts, and articles before publication.
- Submit work to editors for input and approval.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Prepare short form summaries of long form content to share on social media.
- Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
- Update website content as needed.

Experience and Skills
- Current student enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program majoring in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or related field are preferred.
- Possess a passion for writing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including knowledge of proper grammar and spelling.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)
