Jot Title: Website Content Writer

Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: $48,000 - $51,000 Salary

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you will be doing:

• Working as part of a creative team
• Addressing and meeting goals of our clients
• Available to be called in on a project when decisions need to be made involving writing and gives the final word for writing style and structure
• Collaborates with Director of Creative Operations and Lead Writer to create processes and procedures that provide efficiency, accuracy, and profitability for the department
• Regularly collaborates with other departments to define, maintain, and improve BxB best practices for SEO as well as other aspects of writing, records them, and makes sure the writing team understands and implements them
• Meets with clients when necessary to understand scope of work and brand particulars for tasks assigned to them and steps in when needed on tasks assigned to other writers
• Attends and participates in assigned internal kickoffs to review creative briefs, incoming job starts and other forms of project initiation making sure the team has the correct information required
• Reviews and confirms timelines and key milestone dates for tasks assigned to them assuring content creation is produced, reviewed, meets BxB quality standards, and is delivered on time
• Writes custom and syndicated content for BxB client websites when assigned
• Writes custom and syndicated blogs for BxB clients when assigned
• Writes copy for materials such as brochures, newsletters, flyers, and other collateral for both BxB and its clients as assigned
• Edits and proofs internal and external content as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Skills:

• 3 + years of experience as a Content Writer
• Experience collaborating with clients and marketing teams
• SEO best practices
• Proofing and editing experience
• Content writing
• Research
• Experience with AI - editing and validating sources
• Page proof experience is a plus
• Notion (project management / CRM software) experiences a plus
• HVAC or Home service industry experience a plus
• Work collaboratively in a remote workspace with team members as well as clients to deliver a high level of service to our clients
