Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, assist in the development and execution of SEO strategy to achieve company objectives.
- Implementation of site audit recommendations.
- Execution of content strategy.
- Keyword and content topic research.
- Execution of link building strategy.
- Keyword-content mapping.
- On page and off page optimizations.
- Content restructuring, copy revision, content redesign recommendations.
- Coordination of externally produced content.
- Design, implement and strengthen topically focused content sections to improve SEO performance and user engagement.
- Site structure/internal link audits.
- Schema development and implementation.
- Use research and analytical insights to inform content planning, ideation and creation.
- Enhance online presence, brand reputation and social media engagement.
- Contribute to Forum/Blog and Article postings on behalf of Compare.com
- PR and media outreach.
- Competitive analysis.
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends in the industry.
- Help people find us on Google
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of hands-on, SEO-focused content creation experience.
- Strong understanding of inbound marketing tactics, such as keyword research, content creation, social media monitoring and publishing, landing page optimization, email marketing and other forms of content marketing.
- Team player, willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlines and help coworkers.
- Able to multi-task and switch gears quickly while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Experience working with outside vendors and agencies to make sure marketing goals are being accomplished.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Strong relationship building skills and experience working with colleagues and partners at all levels.
- Ability to take initiative to create and improve processes.
