About the role: As our Content Marketing Manager, you will be the voice of our brand and will be responsible for creating, assessing, and optimizing content that resonates with our audience. You will work closely with our director of marketing as well as the CEO to develop strategies that drive engagement and growth.
You are perfect for this role if you are creative with your words and have a strategic mind. You should have experience in planning and executing content campaigns and have an interest in beauty, cosmetics, supplements, pet health, and the overall wellness industry.
IMPORTANT: This is NOT a social media role. You will work mostly on Content Marketing and brand building through different channels.
About Citruslabs: Citruslabs is the fastest-growing provider to create research-backed product claims for consumer brands. We do this through clinical trials and work mostly with skincare, supplement, superfood, and pet health brands. We are responsible for phrases like "97% saw smoother fine lines and wrinkles'' and have been in business since 2015. Unlike your typical start-up, we push for profitability while growing sustainably.
This is a B2B-facing role, and you will manage multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Creation: Together with our director of marketing, you will create the content strategy and craft high-quality content for blogs, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, brand spotlights, email campaigns, podcasts, webinars, videos, industry reports, and thought leadership pieces.
- Website Copy: Regularly assess and update our website copy to ensure it is engaging, SEO-friendly, and aligned with our brand voice.
- Email Marketing: Regularly evaluate email campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve email copies.
- Podcast and Video Production: Assist in creating compelling copy for podcasts and videos.
- Social Media & PR: Generate engaging content for YouTube and manage press release initiatives to boost our online presence.
- Performance Analysis: Use analytics to track content performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet KPIs and ROI objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt style, tone, and voice across various types of content
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, SEO, and content optimization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is a plus
- Experience with HubSpot is a plus
- Experience with Podcast and Video editing is a plus
- Previous brand experience is a plus
