Content Developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive training experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with expertise in content creation processes and tools. They will also have a strong desire to help build and maintain a world class training program in a dynamic industry-defining organization. This developer will have a passion for teaching others and achieving excellence through instruction and problem-solving actions.
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to identify training objectives and gather resources for content development
- Develop high quality, engaging training content on a wide variety of subjects in concert with factory SME's
- Ensure there are effective assessments in place to determine learner competency
- Design process execution focused training plans for various job roles and functions in the Manufacturing portion of the organization
- Maintain and update existing content when needed
- Work with various parts of the Manufacturing training teams to manage content storage, and identify and track measures-of-success
- Work cross-functionally with training teams worldwide to manage content storage
What You’ll Bring
- Associate degree, two (2) years of practical experience in training, or equivalent
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, resources, and materials used in delivering training
- Understanding of and commitment to Tesla’s teaching, mission, and philosophy
- Innovative, flexible, positive teaching style and understanding the needs of students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with team and peers within various parts of the Manufacturing organization
- Technology Skills: Strong computer experience, knowledge of content development tools
