- Oversees Nursing Home Quality Navigator website operation for accuracy and usefulness.
- Supports website database management, ensuring timely data uploads from various sources.
- Collaborates with divisions' staff for outreach and website issue resolution.
- Addresses inquiries from the public, providers, and stakeholders.
- Serves as Office liaison to ODA data dashboard efforts, ensuring confidentiality.
- Participates in relevant data dashboard meetings.
- Leads long-term care selection assistance efforts, including training and materials development.
- Reviews regulations for compliance, drafting Ohio Administrative Code sections as needed.
- Assists with Ombudsman and Consumer Guide web page content management.
- Acts as backup user for Ombudsman Program Billing System.
- Undergoes LTC Ombudsman training and supports regional programs.
- Provides information and advocacy for long-term care consumers.
- Represents the Office at interagency meetings and conferences.
- Conducts training sessions on various long-term care topics.
- Serves on interdivisional workgroups as required.

Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science or pre-medicine; 24 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider; 6 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.

Salary Information
Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be set at the lowest rate of the salary range. In most cases successful employees will move up a step in the salary range within six months, with subsequent step increases occurring every year as supported by successful performance evaluation results. We also offer cost of living adjustments, longevity supplements after five years of eligible public service, and wellness incentives.
The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check.
