Job DESCRIPTION:

Golden 1 Credit Union offers a personalized experience for interns. Our goal is to give interns a glimpse of what it is like working for a fast-growing, diverse, and exceptional financial institution. Our 8-week internship program will consist of department specific job duties/projects, as well as professional development workshops, networking sessions with G1 leaders, and an end of the internship team project that will be presented to senior executives.

Loan Servicing

• Learn to post auto loan payoffs and interact with title management system
• Learn DMV title tasks
• Learn outbound calling processes around DMV title perfection and GAP cancellations
• Learn to process incoming servicing requests
• Learn to perform non-monetary changes to accounts
• Learn to review and analyze paperwork with a high level of accuracy
• Learn processes for Indirect GAP cancellations related to loan payoffs
• Attend morning huddles, staff meetings and engagement activities

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student as defined by the school, organization, or institution.
• GPA of at least a 3.2
• Junior & Senior standing in the Fall.

• Intern Program: Intern must be available for the duration of the 8-week program.
• Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Golden 1 Credit Union does not provide any form of housing reimbursement or relocation package for interns.

Location:

This position is currently Hybrid but is subject to change depending on CDC and CAL/OSHA guidelines and regulations.
