About the role and what you'll be doing
This will be a hands-on technical role as one of our DevOps Consultants. You will be joining a cross-functional team of highly skilled and like-minded individuals, helping establish DevOps best practices on your project and assisting the client in realising the business benefit of an investment in the cloud.
You will be working across the full project lifecycle and on a day-to-day basis, you will be working with the client and your fellow Ensono team members to uncover problems and ultimately solve them using cloud-native technologies, modern techniques, and software. You might also be involved in presenting technical topics to your team or coaching more junior colleagues.

You will be a self-starter, proactive in your project work and your career, including identifying your development needs and planning to fill them with the help of your training budget.
What you'll bring to Ensono:
We are looking for passionate DevOps Engineers who have a proactive attitude and can interact effectively within a team. You will also need the following skills and experience:
- Creating CI/CD pipelines from scratch, using one of the following: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, TravisCI or CircleCI
- Working with the cloud commercially with either Azure, AWS or GCP
- Implementing basic pipeline steps to provide security governance (i.e. OSWASP ZAP, SonarQube, etc)
- Contributing to changes for existing reusable pipeline templates (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CircleCI) and infrastructure modules (Terraform, Ansible)
- Working with containers and Kubernetes
- Ability to follow code and an understanding of stack traces written in languages such as Java, C# and NodeJS
- Great communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating and working with stakeholders
- Understanding business and client requirements and an ability to articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
