Construction Technology Technician Apprentice

SUMMARY: We are seeking an Entry-Level Construction Technology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a combination of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric knowledge and will have excellent problem-solving skills. A willingness and ability to travel is a must. The understanding of construction jobsite workflows or survey would be a plus but not necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with the installation and maintenance of machine control systems on construction equipment and machinery

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electric issues on machine control systems

· Provide support to team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

· Maintain a safe and organized work environment

· Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols

· Participate in on-site trainings and provide feedback on equipment performance

· Travel to various job sites as required

· Be trained on future machine control and site positioning technologies, such as lasers, GPS, Robotic Total Station, Reality Capture, and Photogrammetry

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· A strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems

· Heavy Equipment technician background (preferred)

· Construction job site or survey experience (preferred)

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

· Willingness and ability to travel

· Must have the ability to work remotely.
