We are looking for a local student to assist us with our Basebuild/Progressive Build and Tool Install Projects. This is an Intern position for Spring/Summer 2024 at our campus in Chandler, AZ and relocation assistance will not be provided. This internship will be onsite approximately 20 hours per week during school terms and full time for summer 2024.
As a Construction Quality Management Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Review and oversee construction projects for meeting quality aspects, you will be assessing and learning piping, mechanical and electrical disciplines and assisting with reviewing specs, codes, and best construction practices.
• Ensure that the project is at all times in compliance with Construction Quality Practices.
• Resource plan the projects from a 3rd party inspection agency view.
• Partner with Tool Install, CS Operations, and Factory to develop and manage quality programs.
• Build spreadsheets and PowerPoints for Quality presentations and review Quality data input to ensure consistency.
• Accountable for supporting and building safety culture of caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
• The candidate must be actively enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ months of experience in:
oCommunicating with a large technical audience
oLeading a technical project team
