Job Summary


The Field Investigations Manager for the Centralized Internal Investigations team supervises Loss Prevention teams in assigned area on all internal theft. This includes managing appropriate LP programs, shrink control, fraud prevention/investigation and protection of all company assets. Develops and maintains effective partnerships within TJX as well as with effective external partnerships partners while ensuring strict adherence to best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, coaches, provides feedback and develops an LP investigations team
  • Assists in the design and development of LP or Corporate programs for assigned areas and validates that all programs and requirements are in place in all locations across the areas of responsibility or assigned areas.
  • Trains and develops direct report’s skills in the use of data and Investigative resources to maximize results and achieve objectives.
  • Works with various teams to identify potential shrink exposures, fraud, theft or causes of loss of profit and develop strategies to mitigate or reduce shrink or loss of profit opportunities.
  • Stays current on theft trends, new products and technologies and informs as appropriate.
  • Aids the Manager of Investigations in the implementation of strategies to prevent and reduce shrink, ORC, fraud and theft.
  • Manages internal/external investigation identification and resolution strategies
  • Influences and collaborates with Field, HO and DC management, as well as law enforcement, to ensure evidence and intelligence gathered meet prosecution elements. Ensures the judicial system is leveraged to ensure maximum prosecution, restitution and stay-away orders.
  • Adheres to all Federal, State and local statutes in assigned areas.
  • Leads investigations teams through high level and high-risk investigations and conducts interviews as needed.
  • Supports TJX values through Associate and Community Relations, Customer Service, Open Door, Diversity, Human Relations, Legal and Safety.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of multi-unit management in a retail environment
  • Strong strategic and reasoning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled at software platforms (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note) and Loss Prevention technologies
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills
  • Ability to manage a virtual team
  • Strong knowledge of LP/Corporate investigative procedures, interviewing skills and progressive LP methods
  • Knowledge of criminal and civil law procedures
  • Knowledge of retail operations
  • Knowledge of white collar type investigations and prevention strategies
  • Ability to travel

This position has a starting salary range of $80,500 to $102,700 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
