We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Labor Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of labor laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain labor compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance issues and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to employees and management on labor compliance matters.
- Investigate complaints or concerns related to labor practices and take appropriate action to address them.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to labor laws and regulations and communicate any relevant updates to the team.
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment on labor compliance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to labor compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, law, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in labor compliance, HR, legal, or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software.
