We are currently seeking a Sr. Construction Manager. We are currently ramping up for the renovation of the former Gannett Print Building in Canel Ponds to become our new corporate headquarters. This role will include the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering/construction teams, gathering quotes, developing scope, meeting project schedules, budgets and quality objectives, and completion of assigned tasks. The role will also include supporting design teams with constructability reviews and other design implementation support. Daily activities will include coordinating, scheduling, and reporting project activities related to stakeholder management and project communications and ensuring that all appropriate technical standards are applied during the project implementation. Preferred experience should include a track record of successful, timely delivery of large scale renovated buildings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a CM or Engineer looking for a 6-12 month local project. Compensation is 50-60.00/hour commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and communicate all staffing and budget concerns through out the project life cycle.
- Ensuring all deliverables and constructed work are in conformance with the quality standards set forth in the contract documents
- Providing timely, accurate, progress reports, and cost of completion forecasts
- Monitoring subcontractor adherence to safety standards
- Coordinating and managing Change Orders in a timely manor
Qualifications:
- 15 years of applicable construction management. Manufacturing Plant renovations preferred
- Valid driver’s license
